Loan Officers will receive a notification when trying to submit a lock request if the Lock Desk is closed. Prior to submitting a lock request that will be received by the Lock Desk, the system will check the Lock Desk hours to see if they are open and accepting requests, if the desk is closed the user will be given a notification that they are unable to submit a request.
The system administrator must have set Check for Lock Desk Configuration Preferences to ‘Yes’ within Loan Center ADMIN and set up Lock Desk hours with the Lock Desk pricing vendor. Additionally, Pricing/Locking functionality must be turned on within Vendor Manager.
Users will notice the following notification if a lock request is submitted outside of normal lock desk business hours:
