OVERVIEW
- Currently, there is logging and status of event “Export to LOS” services available on the Integration Services screen, however the end user (Loan Officer role) is not typically given access to this screen. So, the logging and status of event must be moved out of the Integration Services screen and into an area that the end user (Loan officer role) does have access to, eg Loan Details page, and pipeline views.
Description
- A red exclamation point icon that displays on the black bar section of the Loan Details page will be extended to display logging and status of event “Export to LOS”. Additionally, the red exclamation point icon that displays on the pipeline views will also be extended to display the logging and status of event “Export to LOS”.
- The same message will display under the “Export to LOS” button on the footer section of the Loan Details page, and there will be a waiting gif on the button while the system performs retry attempts.
Detailed Functionality
- When the event “Export to LOS” is triggered and initial attempts return as failure, then the red exclamation point icon indicator will display message “export failed. System will retry on [datetime]; attempt x of y”.
- The red exclamation point icon that displays on pipeline view will also be extended to display same logging and status of event “Export to LOS” with message “export failed; System will retry on [datetime]; attempt x of y”
- The link “retry” on screen “Integration Services” will be removed since button “Export to LOS” on screen “Loan Details” is functionally enabled now (will allow user to trigger event again).
- The internal query that runs on the pipeline view to identify the loans where event “Export to LOS” has failed with a red exclamation point indicator will be modified with configuration keys to control the frequency of the refresh and reload events.
- The “Export to LOS” button on the footer section of the Loan Details page will also be updated with a waiting gif and the same message “export failed; system will retry on [datetime]; attempt x of y” displayed under the button.
Configuration & Prerequisite Information
- A new configuration key “LOS.LoanListPollingPeriod” is used to set the “period (in seconds) to poll the Standard Lists and refresh the list of loans on screen; default value is “30”
- A new configuration key “LOS.LoanViewPollingPeriod” is used to set the “period (in seconds) to poll Standard Lists and reload list of loans on screen with red exclamation point icon; default value is “30”.
Acceptance Criteria
Use Case # 1:
VERIFY The red exclamation point indicator icon is displayed on the black status bar of the Loan Details page when the event “Export to LOS” returns as failure, and message states “export failed. System will retry on [datetime]; attempt x of y”.
- Access the Loan Center site
- Create a new loan and complete the loan application
- Navigate to Loan Details page and click on “Export to LOS” button
- Wait for system to display the popup “Update to LOS – In progress” and loan # to be provided.
- Access the LOS Encompass and access the loan provided in step 4, which will cause failure in POS event “Export to LOS”.
- Return to Loan Center site and review the loan # provided in step 4.
- Navigate to Loan Details page and review the black status bar that displays at top of screen.
- VERIFY the red exclamation point icon displays when the service “Export to LOS” returns failure (due to user in file in LOS Encompass).
- Title as “Export to LOS Error”
- Message as “export failed; system will retry again on [datetime]; attempt x of y”
- Navigate to Loan Details page and review the “Export to LOS” button on the footer section.
- VERIFY the same message displays under the “Export to LOS” button when the service “Export to LOS” returns failure.
Use Case # 2:
VERIFY The red exclamation point indicator icon is displayed on the Standard Lists pipeline views when the event “Export to LOS” returns as failure, and message states “export failed. System will retry on [datetime]; attempt x of y”.
- Continue with Test Case #1.
- Click “Save and Exit” button and wait for system to load the Standard List pipeline.
- Search for loan provided in test case #1.
- VERIFY the red exclamation point icon display on the loan with message “export failed; system will retry on [datetime]; attempt x of y”.
- Access the CONCIERGE site and navigate to “Configuration – Environment”
- Review the list of configuration keys
- VERIFY there is a new configuration key “LOS.LoanListPollingPeriod” with hover over message as “period (in seconds) used to poll the Standard Lists and refresh the list of loans; default is 30”
- VERIFY there is a new configuration key “LOS.LoanViewPollingPeriod” with hover over message as “period (in seconds) used to poll the “Loan with Errors” view and refresh the list of loans; default is 30”
Use Case # 3:
VERIFY The link “retry” that displays on Integration_Encompass_Request row of category “LOS – Encompass” in the Integration Services screen is removed.
- Continue with Test Case #1.
- Navigate to Integration Services screen and review the category “LOS – Encompass”
- VERIFY the link “retry” that displays on row Integration_Encompass_Request is removed.
