‘Loan is Locked By {cPOS User Name}’ Message
The ‘Loan is Locked by {cPOS User Name}’ message indicated that the borrower is currently logged into the cPOS portal and is actively viewing and/or updating their loan file. To maintain the integrity of the loan data, the borrower will need to complete their updates. Once the borrower’s current session ends, the loan will again be available within the oPOS portal for viewing and/or updating.
Click the Close button to return to the oPOS pipeline. The oPOS user can then check back later to make changes to the loan file, once the cPOS user’s session has ended.
Click the Open Read-Only Mode button to open the locked loan file for viewing purposes only.
Read-Only Icon
The ‘Read Only’ Icon appears on the right side of the black Contextual Bar when the loan application is in read-only mode.
*Note: While changes to the loan fields can be made while the ‘Read Only’ Icon is activated, those changes cannot be saved.
‘This feature is unavailable in read-only mode’ Message
If the oPOS user attempts to save any changes entered into the loan fields while the ‘Read Only’ Icon is activated, the ‘This feature is unavailable in read-only mode’ Message will appear.
*Note: Users can successfully upload documents while the ‘Read Only’ Icon is activated.
Summary
If the oPOS user attempt to log into a loan file while the cPOS user is already in an active session on the same loan file, the oPOS user has the option to either 1) log in to the loan file in ‘Read Only’ mode, or 2) log in after the cPOS user’s session has ended to make changes to the loan file.
The Read Only mode allows limited access, where oPOS users can:
- View loan data
- Upload documents in DocVault
While in Read-Only Mode, all other changes made to a loan cannot be successfully saved.
