The system provides users with a variety of pre-constructed email templates that can be used to send emails to key loan participants and either prompt them to perform an important action or to provide them with critical updates about the loan status. The "Email Management" page is where Admin users can view and edit these templates. This article provides an overview of how these templates work and offers instructions for editing them, if necessary.

Overview
In order to access Email Management, you must be granted the "Edit Email Management" privilege in iMP System Admin. Once you have this privilege, Email Management will be available from the Admin menu.
The "Email Management" page is separated into two tabs, SecureLink Emails and Notification Emails.
The templates under SecureLink Emails are used to send an email to the borrower prompting them to sign in to the consumer site (cPOS) and complete a specific action, such as completing the loan application or signing the disclosure package. The templates under Notification Emails are used to notify relevant parties when certain steps in the loan process have been completed, such as when the appraisal is performed or when the loan is reassigned. Use these tabs to switch between the list of SecureLink Emails and Notification Emails.
By default, the templates on this page are collapsed and display only the name, description, and status of each template. An Inactive status indicates that the corresponding template has been disabled and cannot be sent by users or the system.
To view a template in greater detail, select the grey arrow icon () next to the Display Order number.
This opens the template's settings, where the selected email can be reviewed and edited. See below to learn more about editing a SecureLink or Notification template.

Editing an Email Template
Virtually every aspect of these email templates can be customized to suit your business needs and preferences, from the content of the email body to the subject line and the list of recipients. When a template is expanded, use the following fields to configure the email as desired:
- Subject Line - enter the desired subject line exactly as it should appear in the email
- From - this drop-down menu is used to select whose email address should appear as the sender of the email. Choose 'Configured' to use the company or division email address that has been provided in iMP System Admin. Otherwise, select 'Loan Officer' to send the email from the email address associated with the loan officer's user profile in iMP System Admin.
- To/CC - the provided checkboxes can be used to configure which users should receive the email when it is sent. The recipient checkboxes that are available differ between email templates, depending on the context of the message/notification. SecureLink emails do not contain 'To' checkboxes, since they are solely designed to be sent to the borrower as the primary recipient.
- Body of Text - this text field is used to edit the body of the email itself. You can use data variables to populate the email dynamically with unique information that pertains to the borrower or the loan. Read on to learn about using data variables.
Once an email template has been edited to your preferences, make sure that it is set to 'Active' in the top right corner. Conversely, you can use this field to de-activate an email template.
Data Variables
When a data variable is entered into the body or subject line of an email template, the corresponding piece of information will be populated dynamically into the email.
For example, the variable "{%borrowerName%}" will be replaced with the borrower's name when the email is sent.
Refer to the following table for a list of the available data variables. These variables must be entered exactly as they appear below in order for the data to be populated correctly.

SecureLink Emails
The system comes with a number of default pre-constructed SecureLink templates. These emails are designed to invite the borrower to sign in to cPOS and complete a particular task. If you want to create a custom SecureLink email that is not available among the templates, the Adhoc template allows the user to craft a custom message to the borrower.
In some cases, however, you may want to add an additional template to the list. This must be done with the assistance of Cloudvirga. If you would like to create additional templates, please contact your implementation and support team.
The table below contains a list of the default SecureLink templates
