Overview
Release 6.0.3000 includes the following updates to the “Loan Assignments” modal window in oPOS:
- this window can now be used to change which Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) or Loan Processor appears on the Loan Officer Contact Card in cPOS
- users can now add multiple LOAs and Loan Processors to a single loan. When making loan assignments, the Loan Officer will be able to search for and select from all members of their loan team, including LOAs and Loan Processors
- this window now contains interactive icons that provide users with the contact information of assigned team members.
“Loan Assignments” Window - User Interface Updates
The “Loan Assignments” window has been updated to provide users with greater flexibility in managing their loan team assignments. New fields allow a Loan Officer to add multiple team members to a single loan and change the borrower’s primary LOA or Loan Processor contact.

Assign Primary LOA and Processor Contact
The new LOA - Consumer Site and Loan Processor - Consumer Site fields indicate which members of the loan team will appear on the Loan Officer Contact Card in cPOS, allowing Loan Officers to direct borrowers to specific members of the loan team. To do this, open the respective drop-down menu and select the desired LOA or Loan Processor.
Add Multiple Team Members
You can now assign additional LOAs and Loan processors to a single loan.
To add an LOA, open the Other LOAs drop-down menu and select the desired team member
To add a Loan Processor, open the Other Processors drop-down menu and select the desired team member
If you need to create another field to assign additional team members
- Select + Add Another LOA to create an additional Other LOAs field
- Select + Add Another Loan Processor to create an additional Other Processors field
Note: You can add or change the members of your loan team in iMP System Admin. <Learn more>
Assigned Loan Officer Tooltip
If the desired loan officer’s name is disabled within the Assigned Loan Officer drop-down menu, the blue tooltip located to the right of the menu provides additional information about why the name may be disabled.
Contact Card Icon
You can quickly view any selected team member’s information by clicking the blue Contact Card icon located to the left of each drop-down menu.

Use Case #1 - User Interface Updates
- Log in to oPOS
- Open an existing loan
- Navigate to the “Loan Assignments” modal window: Menu > Tools > Loan Assignments

Use Case #2 - Loan Assignments Privileges: User Without Privileges
Prerequisites:
- The following oPOS privileges are disabled for test user:
- Edit Loan Assignments
- Loan Assignments: Edit Loan Officer
- "Separate Business Entity" is unchecked for test Division
Testing Process:
- Log in to oPOS
- Open an existing loan
- Navigate to the “Loan Assignments” modal window: Menu > Tools > Loan Assignments
- VERIFY: all drop-down menus within the window are read-only / disabled
- VERIFY: the +Add Another LOA and +Add Another Loan Processor links are disabled
- VERIFY: blue contact card icons are clickable and viewable
- VERIFY: the Assigned Loan Officer tooltip (?) is clickable and viewable
Use Case #3 - Loan Assignments Privileges: User with Edit Loan Assignments Privilege
Prerequisites:
- The following oPOS privileges are enabled for test user
- Edit Loan Assignments
- "Separate Business Entity" is unchecked for test Division
Testing Process:
- Log in to oPOS
- Open an existing loan
- Navigate to the “Loan Assignments” modal window: Menu > Tools > Loan Assignments
- VERIFY: all drop-down menus within the window can be opened and selected, except for the three drop-down menus that appear in the Managers section.
- VERIFY: the +Add Another LOA and +Add Another Loan Processor links are enabled
- VERIFY: blue contact card icons are clickable and viewable
- VERIFY: the Assigned Loan Officer tooltip (?) is clickable and viewable
Use Case #4 - Loan Assignments Privileges - User with Edit Loan Officer Privilege
Prerequisites:
- The following oPOS privileges are enabled for test user: "Edit Loan Officer"
Testing Process:
- Log in to oPOS
- Open an existing loan
- Navigate to the “Loan Assignments” modal window: Menu > Tools > Loan Assignments
- VERIFY: user can open and select the Assigned Loan Officer drop-down menu
- VERIFY: all other drop-down menus within the window are disabled (read only)
- VERIFY: the +Add Another LOA and +Add Another Loan Processor links are disabled
- VERIFY: blue contact card icons are clickable and viewable
- VERIFY: the Assigned Loan Officer tooltip (?) is clickable and viewable
Use Case #5 - Team Members Correspond to Company Hierarchy; No Separate Divisions
- "Separate Business Entity" is unchecked for test Division
- Two branches are created within the test Division
- Two Loan Officers are created for each Branch
- One created Loan Officer is assigned to both Branches (Loan Officer A)
- Loan Officer A is assigned to both branches has the following information completed in their profile:
- Job Title
- Email Address
- Work Phone + Ext
- Cell Phone
- Another Loan Officer is not licensed in the state of test subject property (Loan Officer B)
- Branch Manager profile is created with the following privilege: Edit Loan Assignments
- At least two of each of the following roles, assigned to various Channels, Divisions, and Branches throughout the company
- Sales Manager
- Team Leader
- LOA
- Other LOAs
- Loan Opener
- Loan Processor
- Other Processors
Testing Process:

- Log in to oPOS as Loan Officer A
- Start a new loan
- Enter Borrower First/Last Name
- Enter a subject property address in the state of CA
- Save and exit the loan
- Log into oPOS as the Branch Manager
- Open the loan that was created in step #2
- Navigate to the "Loan Assignments" window: Menu > Tools > Loan Assignments
- VERIFY: the "Channel," "Division," and "Branch" drop-down menus are enabled and can be opened/selected
- VERIFY: the "Assigned Loan Officer" drop-down menu is enabled and can be opened/selected; default selection is Loan Officer A
- Click the Assigned Loan Officer tooltip
- VERIFY: informational window appears
- Click on the contact card icon
- VERIFY: the following information is correctly displayed from the Loan Officer's user profile:
- Job Title
- Email Address
- Work Phone + Ext
- Cell Phone
- VERIFY: the NMLS# that appears below the drop-down menu is correct
- VERIFY: the following information is correctly displayed from the Loan Officer's user profile:
- Expand the "Assigned Loan Officer" drop-down menu
- VERIFY: all LOs assigned to the selected Branch appear in the "Assigned Loan Officer" drop-down menu with the sub-heading "Branch: [Branch_Name]"
- VERIFY: the correct "Branch: [Branch_Name]" is pulled from System Admin
- VERIFY: the LOs are displayed in alphabetical order by First Name
- VERIFY: any LO(s) not licensed in the subject property state (Loan Officer B) remain disabled
- Select a different Loan Officer besides Loan Officer A
- Change the Branch to another Branch within the Division
- VERIFY: the "Assigned Loan Officer" dropdown updates to "Select One"

- VERIFY: the correct "Branch: [Branch_Name]" is pulled for the new Branch from System Admin
- De-select the Branch by selecting Select One
- VERIFY: the "Assigned Loan Officer" drop-down menu updates to display 'Select One'
- VERIFY: any LO(s) not licensed in the subject property state (Loan Officer B) remain disabled
- Expand the Assigned Loan Officer dropdown
- VERIFY: all Loan Officers assigned to the Branch(es) within the selected Division appear in the "Assigned Loan Officer" drop-down menu
- VERIFY: the Loan Officers are separated by the applicable sub-heading "Branch: [Branch_Name]" that they're assigned to
- Select a Loan Officer
- VERIFY: the "Branch" drop-down menu updates to display the Branch that the selected Loan Officer is assigned to
- Click Cancel without saving
- VERIFY: any changes made are not saved
- Re-Open the Loan Assignments modal
- Make some changes
- Click Save
- VERIFY: any changes made are saved
- Re-Open the Loan Assignments modal
- Expand the drop-down menu for 'Sales Manager'
- VERIFY: the menu contains users from the entire Company
- VERIFY: the sub-heading for the list of user(s) displays the proper name from iMP System Admin
- Repeat step #23 for the following roles:

Use Case #6 - Managers Contact Card Icons & Drop-Down Menus
Prerequisites:
- "Separate Business Entity" is unchecked for test Division
- Make sure that manager accounts are set up and assigned for test Channel, Division, and Branch in iMP System Admin. This hierarchy should match that of the test Loan Officer
- Enter the following information for each manager account in iMP System Admin, but omit the job title and cell phone number for one manager
- Job Title
- Email Address
- Work Phone + Ext
- Cell Phone
- The following oPOS privileges are enabled for a test Branch Manager account:
- Edit Loan Assignments
Testing Process
- Log in to oPOS as a loan officer
- Create a new loan
- Enter borrower's First/Last Name
- Save and exit the loan
- Log in to oPOS as the Branch Manager (with Edit Loan Assignments privilege enabled)
- Open the loan created above
- Navigate to the “Loan Assignments” modal window: Menu > Tools > Loan Assignments
- VERIFY: the fields for Channel, Division, and Branch managers reflect the individuals added to each level in iMP System Admin
- VERIFY: manager fields are read-only and cannot be edited
- Select the blue contact card icon for each manager
- VERIFY: the contact card that appears contains the following information, per their User Profile:
- Job Title
- Email Address
- Work Phone + Ext
- Cell Phone
- VERIFY: contact card for manager with missing job title and cell phone number does not include lines for this information
- VERIFY: the contact card that appears contains the following information, per their User Profile:
- "Separate Business Entity" is unchecked for test Division
- Test Loan Officer does not have either of the following privileges:
- Edit Loan Assignments
- Loan Assignments: Edit Loan Officer
- The following loan team members are created and assigned to the test Loan Officer:
- (2) LOAs associated to Company, Channel and Division only (no Branch)
- (1) LOA is associated to Company, Channel, Division and Branch
- Sales Manager associated to Company and Channel only (no Division or Branch)
- Team Leader associated to Company only
- Loan Opener associated to Company only
- (2) Loan Processors associated to Company, Channel and Division
- Each loan team member listed above has the following information provided in their user profile:
- Job Title

- Branch Manager is created with the following privilege:
- Edit Loan Assignments
Testing Process:
- Log into oPOS as the test Loan Officer
- Start a new loan
- Navigate to the “Loan Assignments” modal window: Menu > Tools > Loan Assignments
- VERIFY: the drop-down menus for each loan team member in the Loan Officer's Loan Team section contain the users created in testing setup
- Click on the contact card for each Loan Team member
- VERIFY: the contact card correctly displays the following information, per their User Profile:
- Job Title
- Email Address
- Work Phone + Ext
- Cell Phone
- VERIFY: the contact card correctly displays the following information, per their User Profile:
- Close the contact card
- Click "Cancel" or "x" to close the Loan Assignments modal
- Enter First/Last Name of Borrower and create an online borrower account
- Save the loan
- Exit the loan and sign out of oPOS
- Log into oPOS as the Branch Manager
- Navigate to the “Loan Assignments” modal window: Menu > Tools > Loan Assignments
- Expand each of the Loan Team member dropdowns and VERIFY the following:
- All user(s) with that role, across the entire Company, are displayed in the dropdown
- All user(s) are displayed in alphabetical order by First Name
- All user(s) within the dropdown are separated by the applicable sub-heading, reflecting which "Name" of the Company, Channel, Division OR Branch they're assigned to
- Expand the "LOA" drop-down menu
- VERIFY: the users selected in the "Other LOAs" dropdowns are disabled
- Expand one of the "Other LOAs" drop-down menus
- VERIFY: the user selected in the "LOA" field and any other "Other LOAs" fields are disabled
- Expand the "Loan Processor" drop-down menu
- VERIFY: the users selected in the "Other Processors" dropdowns are disabled
- Expand one of the "Other Processors" drop-down menus
- VERIFY: the users selected in the "Loan Processor" and any other "Other Processors" drop-down menus are disabled
- Send the "Complete Loan App" SecureLink to the borrower and exit loan
- Open the borrower's email inbox and click on the SecureLink sent in the previous step
- Use the link to activate the borrower's account and log in to cPOS
- Begin the loan application
- VERIFY: the correct primary LOA appears in the Loan Team panel
- Sign out without completing the loan application
- Return to the loan in oPOS and open the "Loan Assignments" window
- Open the "LOA" drop-down menu
- Select Select One
- Click Save
- Exit the loan
- Return to the loan application in cPOS
- VERIFY: the LOA no longer displays in the Loan Team panel
- Sign out without completing the loan application
- Return to the loan in oPOS and open the "Loan Assignments" window
- Open the "LOA" drop-down menu and select a different LOA from the original LOA
- Click Save
- Exit the loan
- Return to the loan application in cPOS
- VERIFY: the updated LOA displays in the Loan Team panel
- Complete the application and Submit
- Continue into "Documentation and Review"
- eConsent to access Dashboard / Your Tasks
- VERIFY: the selected Loan Processor displays in the Loan Team panel (in place of the LOA)
- Sign out of cPOS
- Return to the loan in oPOS and open the "Loan Assignments" window
- Open the "LOA" drop-down menu and select Select One
- Click Save
- Exit the loan
- Return to the Dashboard/Your Tasks in cPOS as the borrower
- VERIFY: the Loan Processor no longer appears in the Loan Team panel and, instead, the LOA from Step #33 displays
- Log out of cPOS
- Return to the loan in oPOS and open the "Loan Assignments" window
- Open the "Loan Processor" drop-down menu and select a different Loan Processor from the original Loan Processor
- Click Save
- Exit the loan
- Return to the Dashboard/Your Tasks in cPOS as the borrower
- VERIFY: the updated Loan Processor displays in the Loan Team panel (in place of the LOA)
- Log out of cPOS
- Log in to iMP System Admin
- View the Loan Officer's User Profile
- VERIFY: the primary LOA and Loan Processor in the LO's user profile are still the original LOA and Loan Processor
- Return to the loan in oPOS and open the "Loan Assignments" window
- Click "Add Another LOA"
- VERIFY: the drop-down menu defaults to "Select One"
- VERIFY: the Contact Card is not clickable
- Select an LOA user
- Click "Add Another Loan Processor"
- VERIFY: the drop-down menu defaults to "Select One"
