Overview
Release 6.0.3000 provides additional support to allow loan team members to work on loans across separate Divisions that have been designated as separate business entities. This update gives users the ability to create and link multiple oPOS accounts for separate Divisions to a single Username, allowing them to access loans from multiple Divisions and Branches without having to log in to oPOS separately each time. To accommodate these updates, the following changes have been made to the “User Account Details” page in iMP System Admin:
- Users can now clone the account of a loan team member assigned to a separate division and assign them to multiple divisions
- Users can now assign multiple LOAs, Loan Processors, and Contract Processors to the loan teams of separate divisions
Note: this feature only affects users who are assigned to Divisions that have been designated as a “separate business entity.” Users assigned to divisions that have not been designated as such will see all of their loans in the pipeline automatically. <Learn more> about setting up a Division as a separate business entity.
User Setup
When creating a new Division within the company hierarchy, users will be presented with the option to create the Division as a “separate business entity,” which allows that Division to build a unique version of the consumer site, with a distinct Division logo, URL, and Loan Team.
When the Separate Business Entity checkbox is selected, the Division will be partitioned within the company hierarchy, and any changes made to the Division within iMP System Admin will not affect other units within the company. This means that Loan Team members assigned to multiple partitioned divisions will need to set up their account properly to ensure that they will be able to access all of their loans in a single oPOS environment.
Use the following steps to set up a user account for multiple Divisions:
- Log in to iMP System Admin
- Select User Accounts > User Profiles
- Create a new user or select an existing user
- Create: click Add
- Existing: find and select the name of the desired user, then click Edit
- If you are creating a new user, provide the following information:
- Role - open Roles/Privileges tab and select user’s role (i.e. Loan Officer)
- Channel - select the user’s channel
- Division - select one of the divisions to which the user is assigned
- Branch - select one of the branches to which the user is assigned
- First Name - user’s first name
- Last Name - user’s last name
- Cell Phone Number - user’s cell phone number
- LOS Loan Officer ID - user’s LOS Loan Officer ID
- NMLS Number - user’s NMLS#
- State Licensing Information
- Email - user’s email address
- Password - user’s desired oPOS password
- Is User Activated - select checkbox
- Is User Online - select checkbox
- Select Save when finished
- If the Username field is empty, enter a unique username (i.e. “firstname.lastname”). This will be the user’s login username for oPOS. Once this username is entered, it cannot be changed. If this field is already populated with a username, continue to step #6.
- Click Clone Account
- Use the modal window that appears to assign the user to another division. Once you have select the Channel, Division, and Branch from the respective drop-down menus, click Create
- Once the account has been cloned, the user’s profile page will contain a drop-down menu that can be used to switch between each account
- When the user logs in to oPOS with their username, they will now be able to view loans from both divisions within their pipeline.
Additional Team Members
The “User Account Details” page has also been updated to allow multiple Loan Officer Assistants, Loan Processors, or Contracting Processors to be associated with a single user’s profile. For example, a Loan Officer may want to add multiple Loan Officer Assistants to their team. The individuals added here determine which team members appear as selectable options in the “Loan Assignments” modal window in oPOS.
Use the orange Add buttons to create an additional line and drop-down menu for the respective role.
