Access Loans for Separate Profiles in One Pipeline View

Overview

Release 6.0.3000 provides additional support for oPOS users with multiple users profiles across different  Divisions and Branches within the same company. To accommodate these updates, the following changes have been made to the oPOS Pipeline:

  • the user's pipeline now displays all loans associated with each of the user's various Branch and Division profiles. This allows these loan team members to view and access all of their loans in oPOS without needing to log in separately for each profile.
  • the user interface of oPOS pipeline views has been updated to include a Branch column.

When a user with multiple user profiles opens any of their pipeline views in oPOS, the user interface now includes a Branch column that indicates which branch each loan is assigned to

Manage Pipeline View

A system administrator can change which loans appear in the pipeline view of particular users by adjusting their privileges in iMP System Admin. The following privileges determine which loans will appear in the pipeline:

  • View All Loans
  • View all loans in the Branch
  • View all loans in the Channel
  • View all loans in the Division

Acceptance Criteria

Use Case #1: New ‘Branch’ Column in Lists view

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: pipeline view now contains ‘Branch’ column that appears immediately to the right of the ‘Loan #’ column
  3.  Repeat step #2 verification for all list views: Lists > [List view]

Use Case #2: User with Multiple Profiles/Multiple Branches

Prerequisites:

  • Test user account is an LO account with multiple profiles, each associated with a different branch (configure branches and accounts in iMP System Admin)
  • Test user has the following privilege enabled: ‘View loans as Loan Officer”
  • Loans have been created for which loan officers with different branches have been assigned

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test user
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: all previously-created loans are visible in the pipeline
    • VERIFY: the branch associated with each loan in the pipeline appears in the Branch column

Use Case #3: User with Multiple Profiles - Sales Manager/Team Leader/Loan Opener Associated with Multiple Loan Officers 

Prerequisites:

  • Set up a test Sales Manager user profile with the following privilege enabled: ‘View loans as Sales Manager’
  • Set up a test Team Leader user profile with the following privilege enabled: ‘View loans as Team Leader’
  • Set up a Loan Opener user profile
  • Assign the Sales Manager, Team Leader and Loan Opener to multiple test Loan Officers
  • Create at least one loan under each test Loan Officer associated with the test Sales Manager, Team Leader, and Loan Opener

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Sales Manager
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: all previously-created loans are visible in the pipeline
    • VERIFY: the branch associated with each loan in the pipeline appears in the Branch column
  3.  Log out of oPOS
  4. Log in to oPOS as test Team Leader
  5. Repeat steps #2-3
  6. Log in to oPOS as test Loan Opener
  7. Repeat step #2-3

Use Case #4: User with Multiple Profiles - Loan Officer Assistant Associated with Multiple Loan Officers/Multiple Branches 

Prerequisites:

  • Test LOA has the following privilege enabled: “View loans as Loan Officer Assistant”
  • Test LOA is assigned to multiple Loan Officers, each of whom is assigned to a separate branch
  • At least one test loan has been created for each Loan Officer associated with test LOA

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test LOA
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: all previously-created loans are visible in the pipeline
    • VERIFY: the branch associated with each loan in the pipeline appears in the Branch column

Use Case #5: User with Multiple Profiles - Loan Processor Associated with Multiple Loan Officers/Multiple Branches  

Prerequisites:

  • Test Loan Processor has the following privilege enabled: ‘View loans as Loan Processor’
  • Test Loan Processor is assigned to multiple Loan Officers, each of whom is assigned to a separate branch
  • At least one test loan has been created for each Loan Officer associated with test LOA

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Loan Processor
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: all previously-created loans are visible in the pipeline
    • VERIFY: the branch associated with each loan in the pipeline appears in the Branch column

Use Case #6: Administrator - View All Loans 

Prerequisites:

  • Test Administrator account has the following privilege enabled: ‘View All Loans’
  • Multiple test loans created across different channels, divisions, and branches

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Administrator
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: loans across all channels, divisions, and branches are visible in the pipeline

Use Case #7: Administrator - View All Loans in Channel

Prerequisites:

  • Test Administrator account has the following privilege enabled: ‘View all loans in the channel’
  • Multiple test loans created within the same channel and assigned to multiple divisions, branches, and Loan Officers

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Administrator
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: loans within the Administrator’s channel across all divisions, branches, and Loan Officers are visible in the pipeline

Use Case #8: Administrator - View All Loans in Division

Prerequisites:

  • Test Administrator account has the following privilege enabled: ‘View all loans in the division’
  • Multiple test loans created within the same division and assigned to multiple branches and Loan Officers

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Administrator
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: loans within the Administrator’s division across all branches and Loan Officers are visible in the pipeline

Use Case #9: Administrator - View All Loans in Branch

Prerequisites:

  • Test Administrator account has the following privilege enabled: ‘View all loans in the branch’
  • Multiple test loans created within the same branch and assigned to multiple Loan Officers

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Administrator
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: loans within the Administrator’s branch across all Loan Officers are visible in the pipeline

Use Case #10: Administrator - Channel Manager

Prerequisites:

  • Multiple channels have been created in the company hierarchy
  • Test Administrator account is selected as the “Channel Manager” for more than one channel
  • Multiple test loans created and assigned to different channels associated with test Administrator

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Administrator
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: all loans within the Administrator’s channels are visible in the pipeline

Use Case #11: Administrator - Division Manager

Prerequisites:

  • Multiple divisions have been created in the company hierarchy
  • Test Administrator account is selected as the “Division Manager” for more than one division
  • Multiple test loans created and assigned to different divisions associated with test Administrator

Testing Process: 

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Administrator
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: all loans within the Administrator’s divisions are visible in the pipeline

Use Case #12: Administrator - Branch Manager 

Prerequisites:

  • Multiple branches have been created in the company hierarchy
  • Test Administrator account is selected as the “Branch Manager” for more than one branch
  • Multiple test loans created and assigned to different branches associated with test Administrator

Testing Process:

  1. Log in to oPOS as test Administrator
  2. Access the “My Pipeline” page: Lists > My Pipeline
    • VERIFY: all loans within the Administrator’s branches are visible in the pipeline
