Before borrowers can use cPOS to sign disclosures or upload supporting documentation, they must provide their consent to use electronic records for their loan application. If there are multiple borrowers on the loan, each borrower must provide eConsent separately.
You can track which borrowers have completed eConsent in the Disclosure Tracking table. When the borrower provides their consent, this table displays the date in the eConsent column. If the borrower declined to consent and switched to an offline workflow, this column will indicate that they 'Rejected' it.
The system will also warn you if you attempt to Create Initial Disclosures on the Disclosures page before all borrowers have provided their eConsent. You can still proceed to create the disclosure package if you see this warning, but if one or more borrowers declines to eConsent, the disclosures will need to be completed offline.
