Overview
Release 6.1.1000 provides the following changes to user role management in iMP System Admin:
- Three new user roles have been added for TPO environments: Regional Sales Manager, Account Executive, and Account Manager. These roles are designed to provide targeted access to loans at different levels of the company hierarchy.
- Users with these new roles can now be added to the contact list for specific Channels in the company hierarchy
- Several existing roles have been updated to appear only in specific environments. The “Contracting Processor” role (now “Contract Processor”) will only appear for TPO clients, while the “Channel Manager” role will only appear for Retail clients.

New User Roles (TPO Only)
The following positions have been added to the list of available user roles in iMP System Admin:
- Regional Sales Manager - users with this role will be able to access all loans in the Channel(s) to which they are assigned
- Account Executive - users with this role will be able to access all loans in the Channel(s) to which they are assigned
- Account Manager - users with this role will be able to access all loans across all channels, including those associated with other Account Managers
Each of these roles will also have all of the privileges that are included with a typical loan officer account.
To apply one of these roles to a specific user, select the corresponding box located under the Roles/Privileges tab in the user’s account.
Assign to Channel
User accounts with the Regional Sales Manager or Account Executive roles must be assigned to their respective Channel(s) in order to be able to view the appropriate loans for their role. To link a user account to their Channel, open the Personal Information tab and select an available option from the Channel drop-down menu.

Channel Assignments for New Roles
In this update, new fields have been added to the Channel profile to add users with the Regional Sales Manager, Account Executive, and Account Manager roles to the Channel contact list.
Each of these fields contains a drop-down menu with the name of each user with the corresponding role that is assigned to the current Channel.

Acceptance Criteria
- Test user has Admin role
- Environment = TPO
Testing Process:
- Log in to iMP System Admin
- Navigate to "Role Management"
- Verify: "Channel Manager" does not appear in the list of available roles
- Verify: "Regional Sales Manager" appears in the list of available roles (in alphabetical order)
- Verify: "Account Executive" is a Role listed (in alphabetical order)
- Verify: "Account Manager" is a Role listed (in alphabetical order)
- Navigate to "User Profiles"
- Click in the "Role Filter" dropdown
- Verify: "Channel Manager" is not a listed role
- Verify: "Regional Sales Manager" is a listed role (in alphabetical order)
- Verify: "Account Executive" is a listed roled (in alphabetical order)
- Verify: "Account Manager" is a listed role (in alphabetical order)
- Click the "Add" button to create a new User Profile
- Click on the "Roles/Privileges" tab
- Verify: "Channel Manager" is not a listed role
- Verify: "Regional Sales Manager" is a listed role (in alphabetical order)
- Verify: "Account Executive" is a listed roled (in alphabetical order)
- Verify: "Account Manager" is a listed role (in alphabetical order)
- Click on the "Regional Sales Manager" Role
- Verify: default loan officer privilege plus "View all Loans in the Channel" are selected for the Regional Sales Manager role (refer to the reference table above for a full list of privileges that should be held by this role)
- Click on the "Account Executive" Role
- Verify: default loan officer privilege plus "View all Loans in the Channel" are selected for the Regional Sales Manager role (refer to the reference table above for a full list of privileges that should be held by this role)
- Click on the "Account Manager" Role
- Verify: default loan officer privilege plus "View All Loans" are selected for the Regional Sales Manager role (refer to the reference table above for a full list of privileges that should be held by this role)
- Test user has Admin role
- Environment = Retail/oPOS
Testing Process:
- Log in to iMP System Admin
- Navigate to "Role Management"
- Verify: "Channel Manager" is a listed role
- Verify: none of the following appears as a listed role:
- Regional Sales Manager
- Account Executive
- Account Manager
- Navigate to "User Profiles"
- Click in the "Role Filter" dropdown
- Verify: "Channel Manager" is a listed role
- Verify: "Regional Sales Manager" is not a listed role
- Verify: "Account Executive" is not a listed role
- Verify: "Account Manager" is not a listed role
- Click the "Add" button to create a new User Profile
- Click on the "Roles/Privileges" tab
- Verify: "Channel Manager" is a listed role
- Verify: "Regional Sales Manager" is not a listed role
- Verify: "Account Executive" is not a listed role
- Verify: "Account Manager" is not a listed role
- Test user has Admin role
- Environment = TPO
- Three test users are created; assign one user to each of the following roles:

- Sign In to System Admin
- Navigate to the Company Hierarchy
- Click the "Edit" button on one of the Channels listed to view the "Channel" modal window
- Verify: the "Channel Manager" field is Hidden
- Verify: the "Regional Sales Manager" field is Shown
- Verify: the "Account Executive" field is Shown
- Verify: the "Account Manager" field is Shown
- Verify: the default value for the "Regional Sales Manager" dropdown is 'Select One'
- Verify: the default value for the "Account Executive" dropdown is 'Select One'
- Verify: the default value for the "Account Manager" dropdown is 'Select One'
- Expand the "Regional Sales Manager" drop-down menu
- Verify: All users that have the 'Regional Sales Manager' role AND have this Channel associated to their User Profile are listed in the dropdown
- Expand the "Account Executive" dropdown
- Verify: All users that have the 'Account Executive' role AND has this Channel selected on their User Profile are listed in the dropdown.
- Expand the "Account Manager" dropdown
- Verify: All users that have the 'Account Manager' role AND have this Channel associated to their User Profile are listed in the dropdown.
- Test user has Admin role
- Environment = Retail/oPOS
Testing Process:
- Log in to iMP System Admin
- Navigate to the Company Hierarchy
- Click the "Edit" button on one of the Channels listed to view the "Channel" modal window
- Verify: the "Channel Manager" field is Shown
- Verify: the "Regional Sales Manager" field is Hidden
- Verify: the "Account Executive" field is Hidden
- Verify: the "Account Manager" field is Hidden
