Release 6.0.5000 includes several requested changes to Prequalification Letter verbiage for TPO users:
The final paragraph of the Prequalification Letter has been updated as follows:
"We look forward to partnering with you on your new home purchase. This is not a commitment to lend and this preapproval is valid for 60 days assuming no substantial changes occur with your finances and employment. Please contact me as soon as you are ready to buy a home, and in the meantime, feel free to contact me with questions about the mortgage process as you shop for your new home." |
This change applies to all Prequalification Letter templates except for the following:
- Prequalification Letter for Texas
- Arizona 'Prequalification Template'
The final paragraph of the Texas Prequalification Letter has been updated as follows:
"Thank you again for choosing {Branch Name}. We look forward to partnering with you on your new home purchase. This is not a commitment to lend and this preapproval is valid for 60 days assuming no substantial changes occur with your finances and employment. Please contact me as soon as you are ready to buy a home, and in the meantime, feel free to contact me with any questions about the mortgage process as you shop for your new home" |

Acceptance Criteria
Preconditions:
Environment - Applicable Client Environment
- Before testing, get a copy of the existing AAR PreQualification Template, TX and Regular Prequalification letters and PreApproval letters for the applicable client environment where the changes of these feature have not been applied.
Use Case #1: Prequal Letters
- Create a loan in CV
- Enter First and Last Name for the borrower
- Enter a Subject Property Address with the state that is not TX or AZ
- Open the main Menu and select Preapproval Letters
- Open the Template dropdown
- Select the 'Prequalification Template' and press the Save & Preview Letter button
- VERIFY:
- That the text "This is not a commitment to lend and this preapproval is valid for 60 days assuming no substantial changes occur with your finances and employment." has been added to the last paragraph of the Regular Prequalification letter.
- The Regular Prequalification letter is displayed with the last paragraph above the signature line containing the following text:
- "We look forward to partnering with you on your new home purchase. This is not a commitment to lend and this preapproval is valid for 60 days assuming no substantial changes occur with your finances and employment. Please contact me as soon as you are ready to buy a home, and in the meantime, feel free to contact me with questions about the mortgage process as you shop for your new home."
- Not other format or text changes have been applied to the PreQualification letter
- Go to the Property tab and and update the subject property state to TX
- Open the main Menu and select Preapproval Letters
- Select the Template dropdown
- Select the Prequalification Template and click on "Save & Preview Letter"
- VERIFY:
- The text "This is not a commitment to lend and this preapproval is valid for 60 days assuming no substantial changes occur with your finances and employment." has been added to the last paragraph of the Prequalification letter for Texas
- The Texas Prequalification letter is displayed with the last paragraph above the signature line containing the following text:
- "Thank you again for choosing {Branch Name}. We look forward to partnering with you on your new home purchase. This is not a commitment to lend and this preapproval is valid for 60 days assuming no substantial changes occur with your finances and employment. Please contact me as soon as you are ready to buy a home, and in the meantime, feel free to contact me with any questions about the mortgage process as you shop for your new home."
